Join us Sundays at 9:30am & 11am

If YOU prayed the salvation prayer and made a Fresh Start, we welcome you into the family of GOD. We want to encourage you to take the Next Steps and discover more about what it means to be a Christian and move forward in your new life of walking with Jesus.

Tell us about your Fresh Start! We’d love to celebrate with you!

Salvation isn’t something we can buy, nor is it something we can earn by our own good works. The Bible teaches us that the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus. Salvation is a costly gift. Suppose you wanted to express your love for someone by giving them a very special gift. What would you have to do? Well, you’d first have to go and buy it – and the finer the gift the greater the cost. To your friend, it’s a free gift, but it wasn’t free on your part. The same is true with God’s free gift of salvation. To us it’s free, but because of man’s sinful nature, it cost God the life of His Son. The Bible says that sin separates us from God and that we have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.

For this reason, Jesus Christ became the final sacrifice for our sins. Jesus paid for our salvation by giving His life and the shedding of His own blood on a cross.  Jesus is the only way to God!   Like any other gift, God’s free gift of salvation doesn’t become ours until we accept it.  Just as we can refuse the gift that someone offers us, so we can refuse God’s free gift as well. But why would you? In fact, today is the day of salvation.  Salvation is the process of being converted or changed. It simply means that we become a new creation in Christ, and the old life is gone and the new life has come.

Maybe you want to have a relationship with God, but you’ve never accepted Jesus into your life. Now to help you connect the dots. Consider taking the opportunity to say a simple prayer. This prayer should be a prayer of faith and not just words spoken.  By praying and believing this simple prayer – your life will be changed forever more. So let’s pray now!

God, I’m a sinner. Please forgive me for my sins. Thank you for sending your Son, Jesus Christ, who died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead to be my Lord. Today, I repent of my sins and I invite you Jesus to be my personal Savior. Come into my heart and lead me by your Word and Holy Spirit that I may live for you. I pray in Jesus’ name.
